Kylo was rescued one year ago from an animal shelter and doesn’t forget to show gratitude to his new parents every single day. Kylo is a total hugger, he literally jumps in his mom’s arms the minute she walks in.

“As soon as I sit down to take off my shoes he climbs into my lap to be held,” Meghan Sweers, Kylo’s new owner, told The Dodo.
“If I don’t sit down for our cuddle time he follows me around with the saddest most pathetic look on his face until I give in and hold him.”

Kylo had a very bumpy past. After being surrendered to a shelter when he was just 10 months old, he spent quite a while at a foster home where everyone ignored him. Once the Sweers’ took him in their care, the doggie didn’t hold back at all and showed unconditional love to his owners.
“He crawled into my lap, tucked his head under my chin, and started snoring like a chainsaw. From that moment my husband and I knew he was staying with us!”, said Meghan recalling the first night together.
The hugging dog is extremely grateful for finding a loving home and doesn’t restrain from showing other people love too. “He wins people over a bit forcibly… by climbing into their lap and falling asleep.”
