If you doubt your feelings for them or theirs for you, can you see yourself living with this insecurity for the rest of your life? And if you are not sure you are compatible, what you experience may be a strong infatuation, not something upon which you can build a lasting relationship.

2. You feel pressured to marry

Is the only reason why you want to get married the fact that you are pressured into it? Well, that’s not a good reason. You may have to challenge your parents’ authority or even what society tells you. In the end, it’s your life and you should live it as you wish. Don’t get married just because you are of a certain age or your partner really wants it. Marry because is the right choice for you.

3. You are not looking forward to your wedding day

Planning a wedding is exhausting. It involves a lot of emotional and financial effort. Moreover, like any other life altering choice, it can make you nervous. Your wedding day should be a celebration of your shared love, not something that terrifies you.
