Quentin Tarantino took it upon himself to give us the first look on the set of his upcoming ninth movie: Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio rocking that 70s bad boys look.
“A story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood”, as described by Tarantino himself in a statement issued earlier this year. The two lead actors, DiCaprio and Pitt play the characters Rick Dalton, former star of a Western series and Cliff Booth, a longtime stunt double. They live together in a mansion next to Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski’s wife who was murdered by members of the Charles Manson’s cult.
Though initially it was believed that the movie would center on the murder of Sharon Tate, Tarantino set the record straight. It’s about the year 1969 when Hollywood started to change its ways, becoming unrecognizable to struggling actors.
Apart from the killer duo, the cast is completed by Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Kurt Russel Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Emile Hirsch and many more.
