It’s never too late. No matter what they tell you, you can do it. Regardless of what is being said, time is not your enemy, as long as you make it your sidekick. You just have to give it a try, you will astound yourself, I assure you.
It’s rather difficult to withstand society’s constraints when everything you’ve ever known is that you have to do certain things at a certain age. There is a time to go to school, a time to get a job, one to get married and another one to have a kid. No wonder you’re telling yourself ‘there is no more time for me to start living the life I’ve always wanted’.
We establish targets by age and once past a particular age, we have the conviction that the opportunity has been missed forever. If only I were twenty-five again, I would change my career. My party days are behind me. I’m too old for that. It’s too late to go back to college. People will say I’m nuts. Stop following the society’s rules that say when we can and can’t do things.
We shouldn’t allow society demands to decide the level of our happiness.
The ones who have the most fun are those who break free from such restraints, who tear down the walls of expectation and follow their intuition down the right path, the one that feels inspiring. The moment you drop this popular belief that you can only do something at a specific age, you will overcome your fears and make a step forward towards those dream of yours.
When you stop looking at photos with nostalgia and regret, when you start to see life as a track upon which you only need to keep walking or mind what people have to say, that’s when you are taking your life back. No matter how old you are, own your life. Get up and start doing what you’ve wanted to do for the past few months, years or maybe even your entire life.
It’s never too let to take action, to say or to accomplish anything. It’s never too late to be you. Do not let imaginary boundaries block you from anything you feel able to do. Even if you don’t think you’re capable, give it a try. Believe me, it’s worth it.
Tell your friends it’s really never too late, pass this on!
