Top 6 Tips For Clear And Flawless Skin

Most of us know the horror of waking up with a zit on our face. Acne can severely damage not only your face skin, but also your self-esteem. And when your confidence has to suffer, you feel bad and more stressed out and probably get more zits.

That’s usually how it goes, isn’t it? If you’ve tried out various creams, moisturizers or soaps then you noticed that they were only temporary solutions for a permanent problem.

When it comes to taking good care of your body and your general health, sometimes all it takes is a change in your routine. Bodybuilder Brian Turner has had his own share of acne problems and managed to get rid of them by changing some of his habits. He managed to go from a really scarred face to a wonderfully clean one.

These are some lifestyle changes you must apply too if you want to get rid of acne once and for all:

Pay Attention to Your Diet

What you eat is essential for your well-being and overall physical and mental health. A few changes in your diet here and there and you’ll get smooth skin in no time.

  • Make sure you eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits on a daily basis.
  • Avoid dairy if you can.
  • Try to replace bad fats with good fats such as avocados, olives, fatty fish, and nuts (walnuts, peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pecan nuts, pistachio etc.).
  • Try to consume gluten-free and sugar-free products only. We know: easier said than done.

Stay Hydrated

Hydration really is the key to many health issues. Drinking the right amount of water per day can prevent you from developing acne as well. Kill some zits from infancy by simply drinking a couple of extra glasses of water per day. The amount recommended by health specialists and nutritionists is of 2 liters a day.

Change your bed sheets every day

If not every day, you can at least think about changing your sheets more frequently to ensure the proper hygiene.

Stop touching your face

Another key ingredient in the recipe that will save you from the seemingly eternal zits is to stop touching your face. Keep your hands as well as your hair off your face. Dirt and bacteria never helped your pores.

Remember to make sure you have a proper morning and evening washing routine – but don’t over-wash your face and don’t abuse skin products. You may wake up with an even more severe acne. Keep it simple and don’t do anything that might irritate your skin.
