There’s no way we can tell if someone is a genius judging by their appearance. Or, for that matter, if they’re a psycho, mass murderer and so on.
There are a few psychological tests and varied tricks or clever methods that can indicate whether someone is actually dealing with schizophrenia.
Here are two questions that can only be answered accurately by either a schizophrenic or someone with a brilliant mind. Ready to find out?
To get the best results, try to focus on what you see and how you feel about it. Look carefully at the images below and then answer the questions.
1. Is the mask convex on one side or two?
2. Is the mask rotating in one direction or in two?
1. The mask is convex only on one side.
2. The mask is rotating in the right direction.
So what does that mean?
Well, if you answered both questions wrong, you’re healthy, don’t worry. But if you found one or both answers very obvious to you, then consulting with a psychiatrist isn’t a bad idea. Why is that?
Apparently, the brain of a mentally healthy person tends towards self-deceit. That means our brains have the imagination to “fill in the blanks” or “correct” whatever seems out of place. This could also explain why magical tricks work for most of us.
Schizophrenics don’t have that luxury. They see the mask for what it is: a concave mask moving in one direction.
As for the genius person, they can tell it’s a trick right way. And in this case, they usually situate themselves between the regular person and the one suffering from schizophrenia.
This means they can see things for what they are as well as how their mind is deceiving them. With the brilliant mind that they have, these people are able to switch between the two types of thinking with ease. And that’s what makes them unique.
