4 Things You Can Do When Your Partner Says They Need Space

If you’re in a relationship and your partner says they need space you might panic and that’s understandable. But there are others things you can do that are more useful.

2. Express your gratitude for their honesty

It may be difficult to admit, but if your partner says that they need space, it actually can be a good thing. Or at least better than just disappearing without any explanation whatsoever. So maybe it’s not a bad idea to thank them for their honesty.

4. Get some “you time”

OK, this may not be the best of times for you, but it doesn’t mean that you cannot profit and enjoy some time alone yourself. Catch up on your reading, find a new hobby or spend more time with your friends. Anything is better than be mad about a situation that you cannot change.
